KWA Architects (Cambridge) Ltd were appointed by New England Stud to design an equine isolation facility adjacent to the established stud. The three isolated yards accompanied high spec dwellings incorporating detailed personal features from the owner's heritage and materials matching the local vernacular. The dwellings incorporated air source heat pump technology, borehole water supplies and low energy lighting. These highly insulated properties benefit from excellent thermal mass allowing a constant comfortable temperature supplied by the underfloor heating.
